Perspectives, a new search results feature from Google, provides a diversified set of answers from relevant voices (journalists, experts, etc.) in a carousel format, including tweets, articles, and websites. These short, sweet, and visual results will soon launch for desktop and mobile in the U.S., so keep an eye out for them (they’ll appear below Top Stories).
Like Google snippets, Perspectives gives quick answers without having to click through to sites. But unlike its predecessor, the new feature shows multiple sources. As Google rolls out new formats for search results, evaluate the SEO implications for your brand. By giving your content more visibility within Google search results, Perspectives could provide a new avenue for thought leadership and establishing your brand as an authority.
TL;DR: Google’s new Perspectives feature provides users with a more diversified set of answers to search queries and opens up new SEO opportunities.

App Alert
AI chatbot platform Poe — which stands for Platform for Open Exploration — rolled out a groundbreaking feature last week that allows users to build their very own chatbots (no previous coding experience required).
How it Works:
The more you Poe, the more you know. Developed by Quora, the new platform allows users to ask questions and receive answers from chatbots from AI companies OpenAI and Anthropic. Poe has a social aspect too, allowing users to share the AI-generated answers with their followers.
With the new update, users can create their own custom chatbots by choosing a large language model — like ChatGPT or Claude Instant — as the foundation and adding a simple text prompt. For example, you might create a bot to give answers in the style of your favorite author or to act as a casino dealer. Poe gave some examples as inspiration — including PirateBot (answers include plenty of “ahoy” and “aye”), Roastmaster (responds with jokes at your expense), and ChefBot (answers like a professional cook) — to demonstrate the feature’s range.
Why We Care: With its accessible build-a-bot model, Poe is an interesting and unique addition to the AI landscape that gives users more control.
