Tier One is thrilled, humbled, and grateful to be in our 15th year as a full-service PR, social, and content agency. We see this moment-in-time as an opportunity to celebrate and recognize our fantastic team members and honoring them by supporting causes dear to them. On the 15th of each month (Feb.’18 - Dec.‘18) we will spotlight a team member and hope to raise a little extra awareness and support for their cause. Here’s to the next 15! #TOP15

Logan Esser
Graphic Designer

Logan has lived in Chicago for more than a year, but…

She was born and raised in a small town (less than 10,000 people!) in central Missouri. She appreciates what her hometown taught her, but loves the hustle, bustle, and adventure of Chicago.

You may not know that Logan…

Loves learning new things, especially activities that flex her creative muscle. When she’s not graphic designing at work, she’s taking pottery lessons, playing in a kickball league — and in 2019, will be learning how to curl!

Logan
Since high school…

Logan has been involved with Relay 4 Life, the main fundraising arm of the American Cancer Society, which raises money for cancer research and provides support for cancer patients. Its relay events, where teams do marathon stretches (six to 24 hours) around a track, are a reminder that cancer never sleeps.

In college, Logan participated annually, and recalls her favorite moment of each relay: “At a certain point in the night, there’s a survivor lap, which is a time to celebrate survivors and their caregivers,” says Logan. “It’s always an extremely powerful moment.”

In support of Cause the Effect’s mission...

Tier One will be making a donation to Cause the Effect for future initiatives.

When it comes to companies supporting charities…

Logan thinks it helps keep things in perspective. “It’s easy to get caught up in deadlines and the whirlwind of our busy lives,” says Logan. “I think it says a lot about a company that shows support for causes close to its employees. It really makes me feel connected to the people I work with. It's important to me that Tier One not only supports a cause I'm passionate about, but also provides an opportunity for me to share it with others.”
